Tanzania Mission Sunday June 9th 9:30 to 11:00

Pr Tricia and Dave Neale are leading Vicki Schemmp, Rochel New and Don and Mary Jones on a mission trip this August to work on fixing up this Kitchen in the Irene Children’s Home. We will be

collecting donations to pay for a new ceiling and paint for  the walls. Join us on June 9th to share some Tanzanian food and chat with the team about the work to be done and how you can help.

We are also collecting new and slightly used children’s heavy tights, sizes 6 months to 3 year for the children. They use them to keep the children warm.

Tom and Sue MacPherson will be home to visit in early July. They will return to Tanzania for another year of mission there. Watch for updates.

 Car Wash

SLYM Youth Groups will be holding a car wash on Saturday, June 15th from 9:00 A.M. until 12 Noon. Just in time for Father’s Day, treat

Dad to a clean car. Our youth always do a spectacular job. Bring your car to the Sackett Street side by the Parish Hall. See you there.

Annual Church Picnic

Once again we will gather at Neshaminy State Park on Saturday, June 29th from noon to 6:00pm.  Mark the date on your calendar for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.     Cost: Adults: $3.00 Children 12 and under—FREE

Tickets are available in the church office during the week and after worship services.  Please purchase your tickets by June 24th.

Riversharks Baseball

We are planning our annual trip to the Camden Riversharks Game on Friday, July 26th. Following the game will be the usual spectacular Fireworks display. If we have enough people interested in taking a bus we will plan on chartering one. We need at least 30 people to make this economical. The cost for a ticket and bus would be approximately $20; $12 for ticket alone. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Sue
