It’s time to talk about our faith and listen to what God is doing in the lives of our neighbors!
We will:
check in with our prayer/accountability partners to hear how our faith-sharing and faith-listening practices went
learn how to do congregational and community asset mapping so we can take stock of all the tools God gave us for ministry
learn how to “read” our neighborhoods to discerns gifts and needs

The NE Philadelphia POWER Interfaith cohort is hosting a Housing Affordability Town Hall at St. John’s. Are you or your loved ones struggling to afford your home? Trouble paying rent, property taxes, repairs, and the like? Concerned about caring for those experiencing homelessness? This is a great opportunity to voice your concern and hear directly for our elected officials about what is and isn’t being done to serve our communities.
So far we have confirmed that City Councilmember Mike Driscoll (6th district) and the office of Jared Solomon will be in attendance. We will have more updates in the coming days.
This class is designed to be low impact but still a good way to get your heart pumping.
Last Sundays of the Month at 9am in Room A
April 27
Enjoy some tasty breakfast treats and faith-filled conversation with your St. John's friends! You are welcome to bring breakfast foods or drink to share and include a little recipe card so folks know how to make your great treats! Each month we'll gather over a breakfast potluck to spend time together and discuss questions that help us share our faith better.
Meet in Room A
We are taking a walk while praying. Simple as that! We are going to be asking God to open our eyes and hearts to what God is doing in our neighborhood to address the needs of our neighbors and how God might be calling us as a church to join in the work.
Ashes to Go, school supplies for elementary students, household items, and more!
